Updating psp to 3 52
I highly suggest reading the terms of Conditions or else you really could brick your PSP.
Its very important all users with M33 custom firmware please read THIS before using Update Does that say that there's a thing in the update that will brick your PSP if you downloaded it from a certain site? I thought that's what POPS was, but it didn't make sense to me. How is the update supposed to check what site's Ive visited?
Sure, it could theoretically check my PSP's browser cache/history, but how could it check your PC? I've never been on PS3news.com, or any of the other banned sites, but I don't want to risk having a glitch in the program brick my PSP, especially since so many people are having problems with this update. * Going to, or having gone to "Criminal" Sites does not, and cannot cause a brick.
They also suggest it would brick if you download it from PS3news.com, but once again; how? * Upon completion of installation, one can still visit "Criminal" Sites * The ONLY code implemented by team M33 is one that checks to make sure that the MD5 is the correct one.

(that's downright shameful)This is not just some random post, mind you, as Fanjita noted that they are working on a way to fix the broken PSPs.
